Tammie Laney

 Ms. Laney is a Partner with SilverBay based in the New York office who brings over eighteen years of experience in the financial services industry.  

Prior to joining SilverBay Ms. Laney was at KPMG for nearly 12 years, most recently serving as a Director.  During her tenure at KPMG she assisted various clients in a number of projects including: mortgage production and servicing related engagements, financial model reviews/validation, Sarbanes-Oxley assistance engagements, internal audit outsourcing/co-sourcing projects, internal audit department strategic performance reviews, information technology related engagements, regulatory compliance related engagements, due diligence reviews, and various risk assessment and process improvement projects.

Prior to joining KPMG Ms. Laney was a Commissioned Bank Examiner for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC – Atlanta) for six years.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (emphasis: Accounting and Finance) from East Carolina University.
